You get what you pay for, in an app you build; what you don't expect.... is bad.
THE GOOD
• I liked the concept of building my own mobile app., using a template and being able to see what I have built.
• I liked the advertising promise to submit the app that I made, to others like Apple, Google, etc. That was a good beginning, it went downhill from there...
THE BAD
• What I truly detest is deception which is exactly what happens as soon as you build your app., pay your subscription fee. While the advertising stresses, "build your own app," and AppMakr will submit for you, the reality is AppMakr will not submit your app to others until you complete what they say are "suggestions."
• They hold you hostage and try to sugar coat it with sweet emails about how they want you to be successful (only if you agree to their suggestions and implement them.)
• I have asked them to submit our app, without their suggestions, and if it is accepted or denied, that is fine, we just want it done in our first thirty day paid subscription time period. No response from AppMakr.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
My issues began when I found a bug in their photo icon application and signed on to their live chat. I was instructed to explain the problem, which I did and was sent a link to a solution. The link did not work with Firefox, so I returned to the chat room and was told to use Chrome. I explained we did not want to use Chrome and was told it was necessary. I referred the person to an earlier email and name, which said they wanted to make sure we were successful. I received another email from that person, stating they were working on the issue. The chat room person sent me three options, to correct the problem in photos working with their app., i went to one of them, did what was required and the photos still would not load. Then I received a "no reply" sugar coated email, last night, stating they wanted me to be successful, however, they were holding my app until I completed their suggestions, which were personal preferences, not required to submit to Apple or Google. I copied the email and sent it to the earlier contact, asking that our app be submitted, with no response.
